What's wrong with the Indian education system?
Sushil Kumar (Middle in image) who won Rs. 5 crore (50 million) in Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in season 5.
Let's know what he did with that money after winning amount from KBC.
He
started investing money in different businesses without having any
business knowledge and without getting knowledge about investments and
lost a huge amount of money. He used to donate Rs. 50,000 every month.
So many people misused his philanthropy and cheated him by making
several excuses.
Some
of his selfish friends has made him addicted to alcohol and smoking.
Due to this he lost all of his winning amount. Now, he had bought two
cows and is selling cow's milk for his living and earning.
Now, Coming back to the question. What is wrong with the Indian education system ?
We aren't taught financial literacy in our schools.
It takes a lot of work and time to become a financial literate. Due to
this poor education system, most of us don't know perfectly, what to do
with our earned money in future.
