Dharamshala-Chandigarh flight to start from mid-Nov

Passengers will be able to fly from Chandigarh to Dharamshala as the route will start from mid of November.

As per the latest news reports, hill station Dharamshala will be connected to Chandigarh via flight for the first time, under the scheme of Indian Government.

Latest reports suggest that the flights on this route to start from November 16 onward, and fares have been set at INR 1700 per passenger.

With the more details about the timings about the flight, airline officials in the know-how stated that flight from Chandigarh to Dharamshala will depart at 10 AM, whereas the flight from Dharamshala to Chandigarh will take off from around 8:30 AM. Officials also stated that the said flight will be a 70-seater routine flight.

Four flights are already operating from Dharamshala to Delhi right now. 

President of hotelier association in Dharamshala Ashwani Bamba, referring to this move said that this move will likely boost tourism sector in this region, and that they are very much hopeful that this will further help promote the destination.

If one goes by road, it usually takes around six hours to reach Chandigarh. However, with the introduction of the new flights, planning a trip to the hill station will all be more fun.
